Hampton Tote Bag:

Halloween Rescue:
If you wish to make a costume but have little or no sewing skills this workshop is
designed for you. Students purchase their pattern and supplies ahead of time,
and are assisted while working on their own projects. The emphasis is NOT on
teaching you to sew, but rather on getting your child's costume ready to wear.
Sewing machines and sergers are provided. If you are wanting to make a
costume for multiple wearings, such as a period costume, or something more
polished, please refer instead to the "sewing coach" classes. Age 16 & Up, Time
3 hours, Fee $36

functions. Age 5 & Up, Skill level: Beginner, Time: 2 hours, Fee $27 INCLUDES

design variations, and fabric manipulation techniques. Age: 10 & Up, Skill level:
intermediate, Time: 4 hours,  Fee: $48

Sewing Coach Sessions:
These semi-private sessions are for students who wish to learn to sew
independently. Students select their own projects or patterns, and bring them
weekly. If you have your own machine you may opt to bring it, or use the
machines provided. All aspects of sewing clothing or decor will be addressed as
they pertain to students' work: pattern and fabric selection, fitting, interfacing,
zippers, buttonholes, finishing, embellishments, etc.  Sessions meet weekly for
two hours, and are strictly limited to 4 students. Initial projects are likely to be
completed in four sessions. Age: 8 & Up, Skill level: all,   Fee: $100 per month (4
x 2 hour sessions).
Several popular designers have created
hippie inspired, wide-base, fabric tote bags.

basics, and functionality. Complexity of
each individual’s bag will vary according to
